For any additional guests, renters will be responsible for purchasing extra guest badges at the Badge Booth, located at the center dune crossover (end of E Channel Way and Ocean Road).
Although our home has parking for 2 mid-size vehicles, the best way to get around is by bike. We are so close to the center of town. We do have a few bikes to use, but bring your own bike if you feel!
The beach AND the bay! Local restaurants, shops and center of Lavallette are about a 5-10 minute walk. Lavallette liquors is at the end of our block. A great location with access to everything!

The code to the lockbox is 109224. The key for the house is inside the lockbox. Please put the key back after each use.
Check in is at 3 pm. If we can check you in earlier we will let you know. Check out is promptly at 10 am with no exceptions!

Our driveway can fit 2 medium size vehicles. Most of the time our entire block parks on 35 (angled parking) to leave room for driveway use or if it is a tight squeeze. There is no on-street parking allowed on OBSC1 roads (West Surf Way). You can leave your car on 35 for days to come. Once you’re here you barely need a car, anyway!
We cherish the community of Lavallette and our community of OBSC1. Most of the neighbors have owned their homes for 20+ years and many of them are full time residents, so please be respectful.
Linens: Bed sheets and bath towels are not provided. You will need to bring your own. We provide hand towels, dish towels & beach towels. We provide pillows.

Beach / Beach Badges: Renters are required to purchase weekly badges (credit card only) for the duration of their stay and are not allowed to use owner’s badges. Veterans/active military are free with proper ID (does not apply to family members)
Payment by credit cards or checks – cash not accepted 3 BEDROOM $195.00 (8 BADGES) you have the option to buy daily badges for $14 a day. To pay and pick up: head to the badge booth up by the beach, located at the center walkway (end of E Channel Way and Ocean Road)
•Beach badges are not required until 6/15/2024 and after Labor Day Weekend. This means before that date there are no lifeguards, so if you plan to swim, it is at your own risk.
•There is no smoking of any kind permitted on our beaches or in our home
•Our beaches operate with a “carry in, carry out” policy, so please take your garbage out with you!
Our house has a lot of technology and controls of the temperature, lighting, music and TV. The panels you see in the kitchen and on the stairs control all of those. If you go to the panel at the stairs and click on it, you’ll see the different rooms with “watch” and “listen” options. The family room and the kitchen share one apple TV so they both will be showing the same thing. *PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE SERVERS THAT CONTROL THE HOUSE! (located in the room under the stairs)
The patio, or the seating & dining area underneath the house, has a large TV that must stay covered when not in use. There is also a bar TV. The remote control in the bar room downstairs controls the larger patio TV. There is a short delay for sound the first time it’s turned on.
Using the TV Remote:
Each remote is assigned to a room, you can change the room by clicking “list” and scrolling right or left to the selected room and then clicking “watch” which will turn the TV on. You can then use the remote to control the apple TV or there’s 2 apple TV remotes in the bar room. The samsung bar room TV has to be turned on via the samsung remote.
Family room TV: Make sure you are on the Family room control, then hit “watch”. The apple TV will turn on and you can then control the apple tv using the black remote that is on the charger.
Thermostat: There are two units in the house, upstairs (called master bedroom) and kitchen. You can toggle through to choose the room you want to control for AC/heat.
In the living room on the first floor there is a white thermostat that can give you an extra boost of cool or hot air depending on what you need. Please use this only when needed. Note that leaving the door open will lead to the AC working in overdrive and will prevent the space from getting as cool as it needs to.
Music: The best approach is to download the Sonos App and play through there. Many rooms in the house have their own Sonos speakers. You can control all of them if you are on WiFi and have the app downloaded.
Patio: The lights for the patio are located by the stairs to the left of the shed door and has a protected case. The lighting for the patio lights can be dimmed and controlled by the wall panels inside. The outdoor TV cover must be on whenever not in use.
Bar: The code to enter the bar room is 1025. It will beep once unlocked, don’t be alarmed.
